The candidate must have done high school. A high school graduation diploma is required at the time of enrollment. In case of home school, a copy of GED must be submitted.
- The candidate must pass the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) examination which consists of a paper – based English and Mathematics section, and a verbal English section.
- The candidate must be at least 18 years of age. Some private schools have a relaxation of up to 16 years but this is for enrollment only. The student would neither be allowed to sit in the comprehensive exam nor work as nursing assistant until he is 18 years old.
